Bruce Peninsula, Bass, Pike and Pickerel Fishing

This is only the web site owners’ opinion after fishing in the area for years.
My boy’s and I are good at fishing and we were looking for Bass, Pike and Pickerel
The best Bass fish caught were in the Bay or Lake.
Locals that fish this area often do OK. Tourists have a hard time because of the large amount of water. The fish move as the water warms and can be hard to find. Also, the water is clear. Pike are not common but you should get a Bass or two. Bass will come to shore in the evening to feed in some bays. You could ask a local but they probably won’t tell you anything. There are few tackle shops to ask. You could stop in at Outback Tackle and ask for maps and details after you buy something. Please don’t phone, they will only tell you general info that you are getting here.
Inland Lakes
Lakes shown above are shallow with fish but all the lakes do have some. Most lakes are small shallow with a lot of weeds. Small and Large Mouth Bass are common but can be hard to catch if they here you coming. Most pike that are caught are around 1.5 lbs. Only a few lakes have small Pickerel. Again I would stop at Outback Tackle for maps and details after you come up.
